We will try our best to ship your items within 48 hours of ordering. Your items will be sent via Australia Parcel Post or Satchel and a tracking number will be provided to you so you can track your order online.
Please note, as The Gown Lounge only sells single, or small quantities of any particular garment, your order may have become unavailable by the time of dispatch. If an item is not available, you will be contacted to determine how you would like to proceed.
Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for any loss, damage or delay rising from, or in connection with, the transport of your purchase. Once dispatched, you the buyer are responsible for tracking your shipment via the AusPost tracking number.

FREE standard shipping on all orders of $100 and over.
Auspost parcel-post under 5kg flat rate fee $14 (2 - 4 business days)
Auspost Express Post Medium Prepaid Satchel $19 (max. 5kg) (1 - 3 business days); with signature-on-delivery extra $2.95.
Returns & Exchanges
Strict Returns Criteria
The Gown Lounge will refund or exchange a purchase only if:
i) the item is found to have a manufacturing defect
ii) the item was not represented accurately in the item description
iii) the item received is a different item to what was ordered;
iv) the item is returned unworn, unmarked & with original tag intact
v) the item is returned with Return Form included
Fulfilling the above criteria, please contact us as soon as possible by phone or email, and ensure the item is returned within 14 calendar days with the tracking number supplied to The Gown Lounge.
Returns/Exchange Postage
Customers are required to pay return postage. The Gown Lounge is not liable for any loss, damage or delay rising from, or in connection with, the transport and return of goods to The Gown Lounge. In the case of a missing package, if the package was not sent with a tracking number a return will not be offered (see Strict Returns Criteria above).
Returns & Exchanges of In-Store Purchases
Because The Gown Lounge stocks single or small quantities of styles, we cannot guarantee exchanges. Exchanges are upon enquiry only and if the original purchased item meets criteria ii), iv) and v) above. Unless falling within the Strict Returns Criteria above, we do not offer refunds. If purchasing in-store, The Gown Lounge requires that you use the dressing room provided to confirm size, fit, condition and any other requirements before purchasing. No change-of-mind-returns.
Returns of Online Purchases
We understand that shopping online doesn't always provide a perfect representation of the fit and feel of the physical item. The Gown Lounge will accept refunds & exchanges for on-line purchases only if:
i) the item is returned within 14 days from the date you receive the parcel
ii) the item falls within the Strict Returns Criteria above
If your return falls under the Strict Returns Criteria, your postage cost will be refunded once item is received by The Gown Lounge. Approved refunds will be via the original payment method. Please allow up to 48 hours for your return to be processed.

No returns or exchanges on Sale Items. All purchases are final. Please choose carefully.
